Type RLS Ship Crane
*Type RLS cranes are all electric-hydraulic drive.
*The standard capacities are from 3t to 25t with outreaches up to 24m.
*Ship crane design is robust and solid, and components are chosen for a long life even in marine environment.
*As standard, crane is controlled from a platform above the slewing ring.
Type RLS ship crane
Basic design features
1:Welded box boom for low maintenance. The design is stiff and rigid, with reduced flexibility,
giving the operator a faster and more accurate positioning of the cargo.
2:Fail-safe brakes on all movements.
3:Fully enclosed and equipped drivers cabin with integrated heating.
4:Dual pump system with separate hydraulic circuit for hoist and luffing/slewing to ensure efficient cargo handling.
5:The variable speed hoist will automatically adjust to the highest possible speed for the appropriate load.
Standard equipment
1:Complete crane with necessary equipment according to requirements
from specified Classification Society and Flag State to ensure safe operation.
2:Pedestal of standard height ready for mounting and welding to vessel’s main steel structure.
3:Electric starter equipment
4:Flood lights mounted on jib
5:Oil cooler for continuous use
6:Limit switches for automatic stop of hook travel in top and bottom position
7:Entire steel structure is made of certified steel and is sandblasted to Sa 2.5 prior to painting
8:Full two-component epoxy/acrylic paint system of highest marine standard. Color according to owner’s choice
9:All platforms and ladders are hot dip galvanized
10:Full set of documentation and Operation Manual
11:Hand operated pump for release of brake on winch and slewing gear
12:Spare filters for one year normal operation
