Introduction to Gravity Luffing Arm Type Davit:
Gravity luffing arm davit or Inverted Gravity Davit Arm is lowering lifeboat and rescue boat depending on boat self weight, and recovering the lifeboat and rescue boat using electric boat winch.
the appliance is traditionally the most usually used life-saving and escape system that is safe and reliable.
Technical Parameter of Gravity Luffing Arm Type Davit:
This device could launch the boat by its own gravity to the surface of water, also, which could pour down the boat outboard while it is loss of electric power; while Launching, the passengers could pull the remote control cable in the boat to launch or stop the life / rescue boat or raft. As well, the crews can operate it on the deck. This device meets the SOLAS 1974, the international life saving equipment rules LSA and IMO, MSC81 (70) and other regulatory requirements.

1.This davlt conforms to the requirements of the Amendments to SOLAS 1996 -- MSC.47(66), I ntematlonal LSA Code MSC.48(66), IMO Resolution MSC81(70) and MSC.216(82), MSC.218(82) and MSC.226(82).
2.The davit is a gravity type davit and it lowers the boat on the water by its own weight.
3.The davit is designed for boarding the boat in stowed position. The boat could be lowered to the surface continuously and without stopping at the short time.
4.The boat is lowered by the remote control. The crew can release and stop the hand brake of the winch from inside of the boat via wire connection to the brake amm and wire spoil on the small drum. Altematively the crew can operate the hand brake on the deck.
5.There is the fastening unit at the head and end of the lifeboat for fastening the boat and avoiding the lifeboat swaging on the wave.
6.The winch with the motor is used for recovering the IHeboat with 2 persons or rescue boat with 6 persons and back to the boarding.
