Pneumatic rubber fender is a prevailing style of anti-collision device for marine use in the world of today. When the ship contacts to ship or berthing facillities, its protective effect against collision is better than that of coventional fenders made of solid rubber, such as scrap tire, solid rubber fender, etc., due to compressed air used as amortization medium.
Having the advantages of large energy absorption with low unit surface pressure acted on ship, superior impact fatigue characteristic and simple installation, twill be applied extensively to large tankers, LPG vessels, ocean platforms, large docks and harbor wharves, etc., to protect ship's side.
