Marine Reverse Osmosis Fresh Water Generator
In reverse osmosis (RO) seawater is forced at high pressure (to overcome the osmotic pressure) through a semi-permeable membrane. The membrane works like a filter, only allowing certain atoms and molecules through. The process makes it possible to separate the water from the dissolved materials.
